With the visual identity defined, the project entered its most important phase: stress-testing ideas and laying the foundation for what Ocean Keeper Single and Co-op would become.
The pre-production research pointed to two distinct worlds with completely different purposes. The dungeon, where players mine resources and uncover artefacts, and the surface, where they face enemies and bosses.
